TWO SOPA NIGHTS IN NOVEMBER
We've got two SOPA Nights in Denmark in November! Marzipan Marzipan is coming up from Berlin along with Sister Chain & Brother John (who kicked off the "SOPA CURIOSA" compilation with their song "Black Room"). They will play alongside SOPA artists from Aarhus: A.K. Hansn and Agata & Me. The dates, venues are line-ups are:
Friday, November 20: Marzipan Marzipan + Sister Chain & Brother John + A.K. Hansn & The Five Orange Pips + Agata & Me + DJs Zelda Panda & Capt. Daydream.
@ Aarhus Art Academy (Århus Kunstakademi), Aarhus.
Saturday, November 21: Marzipan Marzipan + Sister Chain & Brother John + DJs Zelda Panda & Capt. Daydream.

Way back before the summer the fine French radio show Rockomondo - run by the ever-curious Jean-Pierre Moya - did a special feature on SOPA playing songs from the various releases from the label. NEW CD IN DISTRIBUTION
We've got a new distribution item in the shop: The brand new EP from Esther Maria & The Song Horse called "My Black Heart". Remember her haunting acoustic song "Never Can It Be" on the SOPA CURIOSA-compilation? The reviewer at Undertoner already noticed her back then.

FRIENDS HAVING FUN
Emir Pasic of AGATA & ME is playing once again with his balkanpunk orchestre KURvE. This happens in Aarhus on October 31st as part of 'Balkan Express 2' at Trøjborg Beboerhus.
The "gypsy soul" band Blue Shadow Caravan are also performing and DJ Subs will play songs from the ex-Jugoslavian underground. Before the music starts the movie "Ko to tamo peva" ("Who's That Singing Over There") will be shown - with English subtitles.
